At Stratford Music, we believe in creating lesson plans aimed at building a solid foundation for students to grow from across the board.
Our lessons are conducted on a one to one basis with the focus being on student development.
We like to offer a way of learning that encompasses proper theory, form, technique and expression whilst still catering to the students’ musical taste.
Our tutors combined have a huge range of knowledge and experiences that they can share with all students at our workshops and in our band groups.
Students will have many opportunities to perform, join ensembles/bands, attend workshops and have the option to pursue music grades.
Students receive a discount on our selection of instruments, accessories, and musical equipment.
Our tuition encompasses proper theory, form, technique and expression whilst still catering to the students’ musical taste.
Theory and Musicianship knowledge is the backbone of any good musician.
Being able to understand & interpret pitch, rhythm and musical themes is a crucial skill for any musician.
Composition and Songwriting can be coached and students will be inspired to share their flourishing talents – and gain the tools to create a structured piece.
We host many in-house concerts through the year, where students can practice their performance pieces.
In lessons, students can learn crucial techniques to further develop their performance skills.
If students wish, they can pursue graded music exams in theory or instrument practical through the AMEB syllabus.
All training can be done at Stratford Music.
An important skill for any aspiring musician. Learn to create, not just copy!
We understand that every student is unique and should be able to express their music as an individual.
